DESCRIPTION:
FF-117V2 70mm EDF RC Model Designed by: Paul Petty
This Version 2 RC model is inspired by the F-117A Stealth Fighter used by the USAF. This model is more scale looking in appearance than the FF-117 version one model also available on this website.  The fuselage more accurately reflects all the faceted surfaces of the real F-117A Stealth Fighter. The original RC model design was made with Dollartree Readiboard  Black Colored Foamboard. Other materials such as Dollar Store Foamboard, Depron Foam and Fan Fold Foam may be used to make this model.

 

BASIC RC MODEL NOTES:

• Wing Span: 29 Inches (73.66cm)

• Length: 40.64 Inches (103.23cm)

• All Up Weight: 38.35 Ounces (1091.5gm) (As Built with Dollartree Foamboard, Depron or Fan Fold will result in much lighter model)

• Servos: 2 Micro 12gm (Metal Gear Recommended)

• Motor: 70mm 4S OR 6S rated EDF, try to find one that makes 1200 grams of thrust or more.

• 4S Lipo Battery 2800mah to 3200mah 70C+ / 6S Lipo Battery 2800 to 3200mah 70C+

• Speed: 60+mph (96.5+kph) depending on EDF and battery used.

• Required Radio: Minimum 4-Channel with Delta Mixing (Recommended 2.4ghz)

• Flight Skill Required: Intermediate to Advanced

• Building Skill Required: Intermediate (not recommended for absolute beginners)
