DESCRIPTION:

FF-35 RC Model Designed by: Paul Petty
This RC model is loosely based on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Fighter used by the USAF. The original RC model design was made with Readiboard brand Foamboard and covered with colored sealing/packing tape. Other materials such as Depron and Fan Fold Foam may be used to make this model, but may require carbon spars.

 

BASIC RC MODEL NOTES:

• Wing Span: 24 Inches (60.96cm)

• Length: 28.83 Inches (73.23cm)

• AUW: 23.0 Ounces (652gm) (As Built with Foamboard, Depron or Fan Fold will result in much lighter model)

• Servos: 2 Micro (Metal Gear Recommended)

• Motor: Turnigy 2836-2350 Motor or Grayson Hobbies Super Mega Jet

• Speed: 60mph to 70+mph (96kph to 112kph) depending on motor used

• Required Radio: Minimum 4-Channel with Delta mixing (Recommended 2.4ghz)

• Flight Skill Required: Intermediate

• Building Skill Required: Intermediate
