FF-SUPERNOVA
(Foamboard Version)

DESCRIPTION:
FF-SUPERNOVA Foamboard Version RC Model Designed by: Paul Petty
This RC model is a unique design, not based on any real plane. This foamboard version is designed to mimic the original FF-Supernova RC Plane that was made out of EPP Foam many years ago. This version of the RC model was designed to be made with easier accessible Dollartree Readyboard Foamboard. The original FF-Supernova is Paul's favorite plane and with this new foamboard version he is hoping to share the plane with more people. This model is made a little different than the other foamboard planes on this website. It is made from 5 stacked layers of foamboard to make a very rigid and more durable airframe. The overall goal was to make a foamboard plane that was as close to the original 30mm thick EPP foam plane. The end result is a foamboard plane that flies and feels much like the original EPP foam model. Other materials such as Depron Foam and Fan Fold Insulation Foam may be used to make this model, but may require the use of carbon or wood main wing spar.
